I told J. Cole I had an idea on a remix for his single, “Lights Please”, when we performed at the VH1 Hip-Hop Honors Pre-Party. This was the outcome…

No XV verse. Just Vizzy on the beat! I’m a HUGE fan of this record already, so I didn’t want to mess with what J. Cole already created. So, peep it!

The beat’s sick, but like ‘Reez’ said, heard the original far too many times, so not really feeling it.

few more listens, and it’s grown on me big time. you should spit a freestyle over this beat though

I appreciate you showcasing the producer side of yourself. You did the beat for If I Could Draw, right? That, and Party Lights are two of my favorite songs of yours, instrumentally.

By the way Vizzy, when are you gonna put some of your own acapellas up so the community/fanbase can give back with a little remix or two?
